Michael Stift has a master degree in business administration from Vienna University of Economics and Business and has also completed the International Executive Program of INSEAD University in Fontainebleau and Singapore. Furthermore Michael is a certified management consultant and has a degree in real-estate management.
In 1985 he started his professional career as a sales representative, later became sales & marketing director and in 1992 became managing director of a leading company in automotive aftersales for the markets of Austria and Switzerland. Michael then became COO of Austria´s largest independent car-retailer where he was responsible for 1500 employees and about 370 Mio Euro of revenues. From there after 5 successful years he changed subject and moved into the exhibition business: He became CEO of Messe Wien and Messe Salzburg with the task to reorganize the business and streamline the companies. After completion of this task he went international: For a large media Company he moved to London to become the COO for this international Group where he was responsible for 32 companies in 17 countries.
Through his career Michael has acquired substantial knowledge and experience with acquisitions of businesses, reorganization processes and also with the sale of businesses.
In 2011 Michael decided to found his own company within the NBB-Network and became a partner of National Business Brokers for the Austrian market.
Michael speaks German and English fluently.
