Mark Sing matriculated in 2001 with honourary exemption and distinctions in all subjects. He subsequently completed his Bachelor of Business Science Degree in 2004, specialising in Corporate, Investment and International Business Finance with sub-majors in Economics, Management and Information Systems Technology. He completed his Honourary Degree with Merit Pass in 2005, as well as a Masters Thesis in Corporate Finance area of Solvency, Debt-Equity Optimisation in 2006. Mark also has various Provincial and National accolades and awards in spheres of sciences, mathematics and linguistics; also representing his college and university at national levels. He then joined an International Investment Company and Industry Leader in Risk Finance, Business Partners Ltd, in 2006 as one of the youngest Business Analysts. Over his time with Business Partners he completed various courses in finance and related aspects of the industry at advanced levels. He further gained experience in deal sourcing, networking, deal-structuring, negotiations, due-diligence, quantitative and qualitative analysis, deal approvals, implementation and customer liaison. Mark then joined a medium-size company as General Manager, which paved the way for him to start his own consultancy focused on Business Analysis, Wealth Creation and Optimisation, Turnaround Strategies, Business Plans, Marketing Strategy, Access to Finance and Consulting.
He has subsequently joined the NBB team as Partner and Managing Director in South Africa. Mark also graduated in March 2010 as Top Scholar from The Joseph School of Business Class of 2009, with Diploma in Advanced Business Management. Mark is also Partner and CEO in two other businesses and M.D. of a third business.
